About Scorpions

Generally speaking, scorpions are drawn to dry areas, and their main sources of food are usually small insects such as crickets and spiders. Keeping your home free of these insects will make it much less likely that scorpions will be a problem, so general pest control is always advisable. If they do get into your home, they are usually found in secluded dry areas such as closets and garages. They have also been known to hide in piles of clothes, particularly ones that have not been moved recently. Eliminating these hiding spaces will go a long way in making your other control efforts more effective.

What is the Damage

Scorpions are no doubt a dangerous and frightening pest. Though they are usually confined to the American southwest, they have been found in other regions of the country. All species of scorpion are venomous. Although there are only a few species that present a true danger to an adult human’s health, small children and animals such as cats and dogs are in danger from any scorpion sting, regardless of the species.

Our Solution

We will:

  • Conduct a full property inspection that includes your yard, attached & detached structures, driveway and home.
  • Directly treat areas outside your foundation to protect your home during the warmer months along with their food source (other insects).
  • Seal small common entry points if they are contributing to the infestation.
  • Create a full report describing the treatment and how you can protect your home from further infestations.
